GENERAL The refuse compactor vehicle shall be a universal type and suitable for changing field of operation.
  It shall be easy to handle and will allow the loading personnel to operate the vehicle with minimum physical effort and maximum safety.
  The vehicle shall be capable of automatically unloading garbage from closed containers of 1100 liters capacity.
  The loading height shall not be more than 1.2 meters from ground level.
  The compactor consists of the following:
  o   Compaction body

  o   Ejection system
  o   Slider plate
  o   Packer plate
  o   Bin lifting system

  Tail gate locking arrangement at rear of the body.
Ejection system Channel guides are welded inside of the compaction body on both sides for smooth nylon guided movement of ejection plate.
  A leachate collection chamber is provided at front of the body.
  Rubber gasket is fitted at rear of the compaction plate.

Tail gate with hopper The tail gate with hopper will form the basic structure to which the functional parts, slide plate and packer plate shall be attached.
  The hopper shall be able to take the refuse from the garbage bins.
Hopper capacity 1.2 cum
  At its top , it shall be fixed to the refuse collection body by means of two slotted hinges and shall be supported by two hydraulic rams and two locking hooks mounted to the rear frame of the body. These bearing points and the locking hook shall take up the compression forces.
  The hopper used to take in the refuse shall be permanently welded in between the side walls.
Slider plate The slider plate shall be robust profile reinforced steel construction.
  It shall be actuated by two hydraulic rams and shall run nylon sliding blocks.
  At the bottom end of the slide plate a movable packer plate shall be embedded.
Packer plate The packer plate shall be consisting of highly solid steel and the strongly reinforced lateral bearing arms for the attachment of the hydraulic rams.
  It shall clear the hopper and initiate the primary compaction within the hopper. On completion of the swivel movement the compaction of the refuse and its transportation into the refuse collection body shall begin.
Bin lifter Bin lifting system is provided at rear of the tail gate.
  The lifter system shall be capable to lift 1.1 cum bin
  Two double acting hydraulic cylinders shall be provided for lifting the bin.
